To Encourage You

Isaiah 6:3 “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; the whole earth is full of his glory.”

Revelation 4:11 “Worthy are you, our Lord and God, to receive glory and power, for you created all things and by your will they were created and have their being.”

Ever think about how God existed from eternity and before anything else existed? And everything that exists apart from Him – every star, every planet, every bird, every insect, every blade of grass, every atom, every angel – only exists because it was His will to make it and its only real purpose is to bring Him glory. Ever think about the mind that conceived the human body – all its systems, its form, its ability to think and reason; or color; or the shape of everything; or water; or the ocean and all that lives in it; or rain, or snow, or trees? Ever think about the mind that conceived the incredible variety in nature – with no two of anything alike; or the power that spoke the sun into existence?

The glory of every glorious thing that exists – has derived its glory from Him. Everything, even you and me – only exist to bring Him glory. If we don’t give this glory to Him as is His due, even the rocks will cry out (Luke 19:40). Have you given him glory today? Have you worshiped this holy and awesome God?
